Great list and I like how you have the profile of the top prospects. Two other guys from Illinois that deserve national recognition are Josh Joiner/SF and Devin Tolbert/PG from Illinois Battlecats. Josh Joiner dominated the addias phenom camp in San Diego and Devin stood out at John Lucas Camp Right Way and played up and started 2019 for DC nationals
ReplyDeleteI also like Nick Hittle and Grant Russell of Indiana Gametime.those guys are really fundamental and are tough in the post
ReplyDeleteLucky Dixon of WACG deserve recognition as he did well in the basketball spotlight spring event while other key players were out Lucky stepped up big time
ReplyDeleteJulian Newman is the best ballhandler in the class
ReplyDeleteI agree with all your suggestion and have noted them...Id like to see the two Illinois kids go at it with the kids we know are top 25...I like lucky Dixon a lot too, as well as nick hittle and grant Russell...I think all three look great in their team systems, not sure how they would fair in camp settings...I agree Julian newman has superior handle, but Id like to see him guard, and go against some of this classes bigger guards or even put to the test of having to guard some of these guys...make no doubts he is talented, but on the grand stage also a possible defensive liability
ReplyDeleteWhat about Isaac Spears out of Las Vegas Nevada

DeleteWhat about Jaylen Taylor out of Montgomery Alabama
DeleteI agree with you on Julian.Devin has went head to head with Nimari plenty of times at toi balyors east vs west all star game and camp as well if you haven't seen those camps and all star games you should check into those as it features some of the top talent in the nation. Last year Nimari dimngus Stephens tarik booker garrot Ott-Large all attended the event. I think that lucky would get more attention on a less talented team also
ReplyDeleteIf you are going to create a website "Class of 2020 Top 100 National Player Rankings." Then you should make sure that the names you are recognizing are correctly spelled, because number 43 is spelled Reece Beekman instead of Reese Beeckman. How credible is this website if you can't get the names correct.

The only reason keyshawn johnson is sitting at 29th is cause he sat out last year. He'll definitely be top 15 by april once he's seen on the circuit!!!
ReplyDeletea 5"4 guard from New Jersey "Jake Walsh is ranked on another website 43 and on another 51. he was ranked 3 in NJ and in 2014 he was ranked 4 in the Tri-State. In nationals he averaged about 18 points and about 8 assists. He should probably be on this list from 55-100.He plays on hilltopper heat and they were 3 in the state.
ReplyDeleteSooo how is the ranking formulated? Definitely would like to see my son on this list so what teams in the socal area does he need to play for to be named among "the best". College, AAU, and high school Coaches and scouts are raving over him now especially after the camp this past weekend.
ReplyDelete"JG3" JOSE GONZALEZ III #1 7th grader/2020 in SOCAL. Originally from 757VA/252NC
Just switched teams to EarlWatsonElite. Dominated the Elite32 camp in Anaheim this past weekend. His camp team beat Paris Dawson camp team on the way to a 4-0 undefeated record. Also Paris and JG3 teamed up on the camp allstar team west to beat team east. He has camp invites to Pangos JR AA camp, Ballislife AA camp, and adidas jr phenom camp...always looking for more camps and competition.
